We Grow Amazing Fruit and Community
Beyond the beautiful fruit harvested each year from the orchard, our team has a passion for the community of Orangevale. It is our goal to sow back into the community by providing on-farm events and fundraisers.
Our 2019 Community Goals
- Take great care of the land and fruit trees at Prosper Orchard.
- Improve the curb appeal at the Filbert Ave property to create something neighbors can be proud of.
- Create a program for youth clubs & sports teams to hold orchard fundraisers in the summer. Teams pre-sell fruit to their family, friends, and neighbors, then the kids come out to the orchard for a fun harvest event, and they keep 50% of the profits for their club.
- Hire local students to help with harvesting fruit in the summer.
- Generate thousands of dollars annually that can be reinvested into local Orangevale community organizations.
10% of the profits from the Orangevale Fruit Co. will be directly used to fund this program, and provide schools, clubs, and service organizations access to request funding for their community outreach projects.
